Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how NODEDR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED (“NodeDR,” “we,” “us”) handles information on this marketing website (https://orderrestro.nodedr.com) and in the OrderRestro Windows desktop app distributed on the Microsoft Store. It does not cover data you enter into a self-hosted NodeDR OrderRestro instance — orders, menu, customers, and inventory in your restaurant’s own installation live entirely on your own server and never reach us.

Does this product access, collect, or transmit personal information?

No. The OrderRestro Windows app itself does not access, collect, or transmit any personal information to NODEDR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED or to any third party. Concretely:

• The app contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising, or crash-reporting SDK of any kind. Nothing about how you use the app, and nothing you type into it, is ever sent to us.
• The only thing the app stores is the server address you configure (e.g. http://192.168.1.50:1995) — the LAN/VPN address of your own restaurant’s OrderRestro server. This is saved locally on your PC at %LOCALAPPDATA%\OrderRestro\config.json and never leaves that PC.
• The app is a thin client: it displays the same web app your restaurant already self-hosts, inside a Microsoft WebView2 browser control, and connects only to the server address you supply. It does not connect to any NodeDR-operated server, and we have no ability to see or receive what happens inside your session.
• Any personal information handled through the app while you use it — staff logins, customer names/phone numbers on orders, reservations, loyalty records — is entered into and stored entirely on your own restaurant’s self-hosted server, which you control. It is transmitted only between the app and that server (over your own LAN/VPN), never to NodeDR.
• WebView2 (the Microsoft-provided browser component the app uses to render the web UI) may itself collect standard diagnostic data under Microsoft’s own privacy terms, exactly as Microsoft Edge does — this is Microsoft’s data handling, not ours; see Microsoft’s Privacy Statement. We do not configure, control, or receive that data.

In short: install and run the app, and nothing about your restaurant, your staff, or your customers ever reaches NODEDR INFOTECH PRIVATE LIMITED. Your data stays on hardware you own.

1. Information we collect

• Contact form submissions — name, email, subject, and message when you use the contact form.
• Technical data — basic request metadata (IP, user agent, pages viewed) collected by our hosting infrastructure in aggregate for uptime and performance monitoring.

• Respond to your support or inquiry message.
• Monitor website performance and reliability.
• Comply with applicable law.

3. Third-party services

Contact form submissions are delivered via our own NodeDR form-delivery infrastructure. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or marketing automation on this site.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure aggregate traffic and page performance. It does not use cookies or any client-side state to track you, and does not collect personally identifiable information — see Cloudflare’s privacy policy for how it handles the data it does collect.

4. Data retention

Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry, then deleted. Aggregate access logs are retained for no more than 90 days.

5. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your contact data by emailing us at info@nodedr.com.

6. Security

Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and forwarded with a signed request header. No method of internet transmission is 100% secure; we use reasonable safeguards.

7. Changes

Material updates will be reflected in the effective date at the top of this page.
